Cocktail of the Week - Rising Dragon

1½ oz. Russian Standard Vodka

½ oz. Alize Red Passion Liqueur

¼ oz. lime juice

Splash of cranberry juice

Method: Ice a martini glass and leave to chill while you prepare the drink. In a shaker, pour all ingredients over ice and shake. Discard the ice in the martini glass and strain the shaker into the chilled glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Tips: Keep the alcohol ingredients on ice or in the fridge when making this cocktail. This will help the martini stay refreshingly cold longer. If you prefer a slightly more sour martini, simply increase the amount of lime juice. Or if you wish to sweeten up this drink, use a full ounce of Alize Red Passion Liqueur.

Originally concocted as a means to ward off bad luck in this, the Chinese Year of the Dragon, Minnie & I prefer Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka as the main ingredient & we go easy on the sweet French liqueur.
